During  the entire passed year, I spent  loads of time at participating bars. I live on the border of the downtown, still full of buildings and streets, which most of the day are overwhelmed.

Turning left on the corner of my building there is one bar very close. Other two bars are reacheable by walking some steps in different directions.

But for some aspects – some of paramount importance – my innate curiosity spurred myself on attending other bars, even distant. I wanted to investigate their service, products, and the comfort of their interior design. Moreover I love sometimes to change bar.

I usually attend a bar not  more than four times.

My real purpose was  to come to a conclusion :

Which was the best bar to stay for people?

My own area is near to another area wealthier and lively. This area is filled up with buildings, shops , gyms, restaurants and numerous bars. Many inhabitants of this big developed area think of it as overwhelming and stressing.  Nevertheless having a stroll in its streets revitalise your day.

Thanks to a friend’s suggestion, one day  I headed towards a bar near to the end of the area. But still, it was located on the corner of two main streets. The airy and cosy atmosphere was rather inviting so that it prompted myself to have and go. Once entered the bar I saw enough people – we weren’t packed – some standing at the bar table expecting their turn to be served. The rest sat was ready to make an order or itched to savour the delicious products just served.

At some point I felt a sensation of a far greater comfort compared to the bars I had before attended. An elderly couple, Fernando and Barbara run the bar. They serve sweet pastries of a wide variety,  espresso beverages, coffee brews, fresh drink, cocktail and appetizer. Their service is impeccable, always a smile on their faces , no need to take notes. They’re fast! Furthermore they simultaneously chat with the client who feels at ease.

But one thing need to be said about their products. The people and I adore their delicious pastries made with natural ingredients by Fernando – who since he was young had worked in bars. One day  I felt a bit gobsmacked staring at the faces of the people swallowing the pastries and viewing their lips glistened with marmalade, creams, butter.

It is a sweet ritual which needs a glass of water to drink after have eaten the pastries to dive then into the intense tastes of drinks as coffee, cappuccino, tea. Moments like this are capable of spreading relaxation, revitalisation or  simply feel the comfortable air.

The bar can deliver its food and drinks  to shops and offices in a limited area, although quite vast.

The icing on the cake it is the interior design, very elegant and practical at the same time. In fact, I had to admit that the design ruled over my unconscious drives so that I stepped into the bar the first time. Furthermore the people do feel the comfort of this design. As a result they are easily involved in reading books, a newspapers or having a friendly chat with the close individuals.

I’ve still been participating Fernando’s bar. I can say without a shadows of a doubt that the service is customer focused and aimed to reach a full satisfaction of client’s need.

4 Key point  and In-depth analysis of the business success

  1. First and foremost the long life experience of Fernando working in bars, which allowed him to run its own bar, plan and develop strategy to assure product of top quality(nowadays even big companies disregard this paramount aspect).
  2. The skills of the couple to establish good relationship with the clients, who  still attend the bars ( customer-centric purpose in marketing strategy). Furthermore new clients come at participating the bar.
  3. The interior design subliminally attracts customers to have an experience. As a result the bar stand out from a large number of competitors.
  4. Despite the tough time on account of the Covid 19 Pandemic Crisis and the Ukraine Conflict the bar has raised a little bit the products price. Nevertheless the customers have no perception of the very little price increase.
